Gloucester Cathedral Choirboys, Gloucester Cathedral Choirgirls, Gloucester Cathedral Junior Choir

The Gloucester Magnificat, composed by John O’Hara and commissioned by The Friends of Gloucester Cathedral, was specially written for the combined boy and girl choristers, lay-clerks, the Cathedral Youth Choir and Cathedral Junior Choir. It will be the centre piece of a magnificent concert, conducted by Gloucester Cathedral’s Director of Music, Adrian Partington, and with the Assistant Director of Music, Jonathan Hope, as organist. The concert will also feature music by a variety of composers including Wayne Marshall’s Evening in C, Iain Farrington’s The ‘Blues’ Service, Stanford’s Latin Magnificat among others.
