Pack up your picnic basket, grab a couple of chairs and enjoy the thrill of this legendary open air music event, set in the glorious Glastonbury Abbey grounds.

Now into its 19th year, Glastonbury Extravaganza (run by Michael Eavis of Glastonbury Festival), is not to be missed, summer highlight for locals and visitors to the town. It's a real occasion, with stage screens, beautiful water fountains, lights, candelabra, picnics, and a fireworks finale.

Over the years, the Musical Extravaganza has staged many incredible performances, including Madness, Paulo Nutini, Status Quo, Bryan Ferry, Catherine Jenkins and to name but a few.

This year the event takes place on Saturday 8th Aug. Ray Davies (The Kinks) will headline, with support act(s) to be announced shortly.

Tickets for the event are available from the Glastonbury Abbey website or the Abbey shop and are expected to sell out quickly.
