Big Band Dance in Aid of Freedom from Torture
Scotland's popular big swing band, That Swing Sensation, are delighted to be helping raise funds for Freedom from Torture.
Freedom from Torture is a UK charity. Founded in 1985 it now has five regional centres including a Scottish centre which is based in Glasgow. The charity helps survivors of torture by providing medical, psychological and legal support. These survivors are frequently refugees and asylum seekers and often include families with children.
Donations from individuals provide around 70% of the charity’s core income.
