Lyric soprano Kate Royal joins the orchestra in May for some of Mozart’s most beautiful operatic writing, and Richard Strauss’s most sublime lieder. Exploring the influence Mozart had on Strauss’s work, this concert ends with his rousingly romantic, sumptuous Der Rosenkavalier Suite.
