Pete MacLeod

Pete MacLeod
Pete MacLeod is a Scottish singer/songwriter with a knack for thoughtful, melodic music. Raised in the small mining town of Coatbridge, Scotland, MacLeod was heavily influenced by the music of Buddy Holly, The Beatles, John Lennon and The Rolling Stones. Throughout the 2000's, he put out a string of releases on his own record label. MacLeod's music soon caught the attention of Creation Records founder Alan McGee. "Pete MacLeod is one of the most talented musicians I’ve ever worked with. I say that without any reservations whatsoever. His new record is stunning. He’s as good a singer as Liam or Ashcroft. An absolute top shelf vocalist," said McGee. MacLeod can also count Bonehead (Oasis), Andy Bell (Ride, Hurricane #1, Oasis and Beady Eye) and Inspiral Carpet's Clint Boon amongst his fan base.
