Roisin Murphy

Lovers of high spectacle electronic live shows complete with multiple costume changes, eye strobing graphics and some good old fashioned stage diving /crowd surfing, rejoice! For the inimitable Roisin Murphy has returned to save the day.

She will be playing a very special headline show at the storied venue 02 Academy Brixton in London, no doubt rolling out hit after hit but also showcasing the bulk of her forthcoming album “Roisin Machine”, which is released October 2nd on Skint/BMG.

The highly anticipated fifth album from Murphy sees her returning triumphantly to her unashamed dance roots, and is the end result of an astonishingly fruitful 10 year working relationship with DJ Parrot. Containing the singles “Incapable”, “Narcissus” and “Something More” (among others) it is already beginning to garner widespread acclaim, with publications such as DIY, Mixmag and Electronic Sound already declaring it one of her best works to date.
