Imlach

After the success of the recent Acme Theatre production of the life of Matt McGinn, Acme are back with a brand new production as they explore another great Scottish folk hero Hamish Imlach.

The cod liver oil and the orange juice was his anthem. A folk revivalist born in Calcutta but in his own words conceived in Glasgow, Hamish Imlach influence reached from John Martyn to Billy Connolly. Imlach explores the life and legacy of a folk great. A larger than life figure and one of Scotland's finest.
