New Wallace Collection, Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Brass Department

Anyone familiar with former Principal of the Conservatoire, John Wallace, will know that he's not likely to sit with his slippers and pipe and ease into retirement!

He has recreated his famous ensemble, The New Wallace Collection, comprising brass players specialising in early brass instruments of the Romantic era.

For this special return, they are joined by RCS Brass to conclude the concert with Elgar Howarth's famous arrangement of Mussorgsky's evocative Pictures At An Exhibition.
