‘All of the Above’
Paying homage to their early days at Edinburgh’s Bongo Club, this trademark Mr McFall’s programme includes a new commission from jazz pianist Paul Harrison, along with music by Tim Garland, Frank Zappa, Martin Kershaw, Joe Zawinul and Raymond Scott. Rock, Jazz, Classical, Swing - this is exactly the sort of “all-over-the-place” mix created for the Bongo Club’s (in)famous None of the Above club nights in the nineties.
