Fridays At One: Mallet Madness

Within a generation, the marimba has emerged as the concert instrument of choice for percussionists, and no two artists have done more to further that cause than the gentleman featured in this concert.

International Fellow Eric Sammut may already be familiar to our audiences, and
it is a delight to welcome him back alongside the visionary Leigh Howard Stevens to join him for this very special concert. Stevens helped to revolutionise every aspect of the marimba, from composing and arranging new music, to building the instruments themselves with his firm Malletech.
