The Scottish Fiddle Orchestra's return to the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall promises to be a memorable evening filled with lively Scottish jigs and reels, haunting slow airs, combined with stirring pipe music, singing and dancing.

Under the baton of Blair Parham, the SFO's brilliant young conductor, the show will include the orchestra's own musical arrangements, some well loved and well known, but mixed with a blend of new material, all played with the SFO's usual dash and vigour.

The orchestra will be welcoming back on stage the renowned mezzo-soprano Colette Ruddy and tenor Dennis Haggerty who have delighted audiences all over the country with their wonderful singing and warm personalities and the SFO is delighted to be performing with them once again.

Add to this the fine piping of the SFO's own piper, 16 year old Jamie Westhead along with Glasgow‘s Williamwood Pipe Band and you are certain to enjoy a wonderful evening's entertainment!

Our compère for the evening is Robert Lovie who will apply his own unique blend of humour and anecdotes to the show.

This eagerly anticipated event will appeal to Scottish music enthusiasts and visitors to Scotland alike and will be an absolutely unforgettable evening.
