An Evening Of Russian Song And Piano
A recital which can only be described as "quite breathtaking" in the intensity of choice of Russian songs and piano music that includes pieces by Kabalevsky, Rachmaninov, Myaskovsky and Mussorgsky.
This tour de force programme was conceived specially to show the vast musicality and sheer virtuosity of soprano Julia Daramy-Williams and pianist Maciej Granat in the beautiful acoustics of Mackintosh Queen's Cross, the worlds only church by the great Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
