(Linlithgow), The Associates’ debut album, 'The Affectionate Punch', is a playfully audacious aural cocktail laced with punk, cabaret, opera, krautrock and glam, which was released in 1980.

Marking 40 years since this classic and still-influential record, and with Alan Rankine and the Mackenzie family’s blessing, Band “A.” have taken on the gargantuan task of re-imagining the album in this live interpretation devised especially for Celtic Connections 2020.
