Fantastic racing is the focus of this last Friday evening meeting of the season with the historic Lanark Silver Bell the highlight of a great night’s racing. This will be the tenth running of the Lanark Silver Bell Handicap at Hamilton Park and the trophy itself is believed to be the Oldest Sporting Trophy in existence dating back to 1165 when it was gifted to the people of Lanark by King William ‘The Lion’.

They will also be presenting the Ladbrokes Lanark Silver Bell trophy, comissioned and presented for the first time in 2012 and won by 20/1 shot Multellie in 2016.

Away from the track they’ll kick off the evening with the SPFL Mascots race, won last year by Greenock Mortons’ Cappie the Cat. Their very own mascot The Duke, will be hoping to regain his title when he makes another guest appearance this year.

Rounding off the evening will be the welcome return of the legendary DJ George Bowie for an energy filled GBX Anthems.
