Glasgow Cathedral Choir, University of Glasgow Chapel Choir

Join a great evening of music when the Choir of Glasgow Cathedral joins forces with the University of Glasgow Chapel Choir and an orchestra from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland to give an exciting rendition of Haydn's well-loved masterwork The Creation.

Sung in English to the original libretto that Gottfried van Swieten crafted for Haydn, this performance showcases the talent abundant amongst Glasgow's young musicians, and helps to raise much-needed funds to support the Cathedral Choir. The backdrop to the performance will be the Cathedral's magnificent West Window also depicting the story of The Creation illuminated by the setting sun; a sight few people get the chance to see.
