Glasgow Indoor Grand Prix

The first major athletics event of an action packed 2016 season will be the Glasgow Indoor Grand Prix.
The event will take place at the Emirates Arena for the first time after a number of years in Birmingham, which will now share the event with Glasgow in alternating years in the build up to the 2018 World Indoor Championships in the West Midlands.

Widely regarded as the world's best indoor grand prix athletics meeting, a cast of world class international stars can be expected to compete in the Scottish city.

The 2015 edition saw Great Britain's Olympic hero Mo Farah set a new indoor 2 mile record and heptathlon superstar Katarina Johnson-Thompson break the British indoor long jump record.
