These two outstanding young Scottish musicians have formed a partnership which brings to the fore some exquisite music for this unusual combination of instruments. They both have a passionate interest in baroque performance style, here amply demonstrated in music by Bach, Vivaldi and Simpson. But the cello and guitar version of Schubert's famous Arpeggione Sonata introduces virtuosity of a more romantic kind to this delightful programme. Supported by Live Music Now.
