Eminem, Run The Jewels, Danny Brown, Russ

Eminem will headline Glasgow Summer Sessions on Thursday 24th August 2017 at Bellahouston Park, Glasgow.

Since exploding onto the scene in 1999, Eminem has dominated the music charts. He has racked up an incredible six No.1 albums and seven chart topping singles in the UK alone. His most recent album 'The Marshall Mathers LP 2' was one of the best-selling albums worldwide in 2013, spawned the massive singles ‘Monster’, ‘Berzerk’ and 'Rap God', and the album won both a Grammy and a Billboard Music Award. The legendary rapper last performed in front of Scottish audiences at Glasgow Summer Sessions in 2013.

Support will come from Run the Jewels, Danny Brown, and Russ. Atlanta’s Killer Mike and New York’s El-P formed politically-charged hip hop super-group Run the Jewels in 2013, and have released three critically acclaimed albums since. Danny Brown exploded onto the Detroit scene in the mid-2000s, releasing his debut album ‘The Hybrid’ in 2010, and has also collaborated with Eminem. Russ, from Atlanta, recently signed to Columbia Records and released his single ‘What They Want’ which has since gone gold in the US charts. Glasgow Summer Sessions is sure, once again, to provide fans with an afternoon and evening of fantastic music and memories.
