Sangam

Sangam marks a meeting, a confluence and a blending of musical backgrounds, journeys, traditions and instruments. Three master musicians, Pandit Bharat Bhushan Goswami, Ustad Dharambir Singh MBE and Pandit Ramdas Palsule will come together for the first time in a unique tour across the UK from 8th October 2016 to 30th October 2016.

British audiences will have the rare chance to hear the sounds of Sarangi and Sitar together and it is also the first time that exceptional tabla artist Ramdas Palsule will be performing in the UK. A variety of musical moods and compositions will be explored by layering the skills and strengths of the instruments and artists. The result will be a spectacular journey through sound, showcasing India’s finest musical traditions.
