Influential singer-violinist Nancy Kerr plays tracks from her stunning solo debut, Sweet Visitor, backed by a stellar lineup.
2015 was a massive year for Kerr, winning the highest honour of ‘Folk Singer of the Year’ at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards. Nancy’s output has been phenomenal of late: as well as launching her solo career, Nancy was a pivotal songwriter in the ground breaking composition project ‘The Elizabethan Session’, won two BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards in 2014 as part of ‘The Full English’, and formed a new trio with Martin Simpson and Andy Cutting which is in high demand.
