Neuschloss / Das Traumen

A group of artists, writers and curators working with or at Northumbria University, will present Das Traümen within the Rhoades’ installation The Creation Myth; a work described by Ingrid Schaffner in the exhibition publication as a “model of the artist’s brain at work”. Das Traümen (part one) will be a public discussion between Neuschloss members and guests including a poet, a philosopher and a psychoanalyst invited to share their insights and thoughts about the artist’s brain at work. The event will be recorded by a remote-viewing psychic.

The event is free but capacity is strictly limited. To apply for a place at the discussion please write to hannahm@balticmill.com with your name, contact details and an answer to the following question (max 100 words):

“Why would you like to take part in a discussion inside an artwork that has been described as a model of the artist’s brain at work?”

Neuschloss members participating in Das Traümen are Fiona Crisp, Charlie Danby, Allan Hughes, Mark Jackson, Ronan McCrea and Joanne Tatham and Tom O’Sullivan.
