- What can we do to strengthen our capacity to help others?
- How do we take care of ourselves when we're feeling overwhelmed?
- Why do we need both compassion and wisdom to achieve our goals?

A public talk by Ven Robina Courtin, a much-loved international teacher in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. Ven Robina's style is warm, funny, contemporary and thought-provoking. She has been a nun for over 40 years, and her work with prisoners was featured in the award-winning documentary 'Chasing Buddha.' This is her first teaching visit to Frome.

"The more we work on ourselves internally, the more we get to go beyond our narrow sense of self and realize we're all in the same boat. This brings the confidence that every small action counts and the courage to never give up." www.robinacourtin.com.

Everyone welcome.
Organised by The Good Heart as part of its exploring kindness programme.
Although the event is free of charge, we will be asking for donations on the night to offset costs.
