Trio Van Beethoven

Working jointly with Scottish singers Lorna Anderson (soprano) and Jamie MacDougall (tenor), the Trio Van Beethoven puts a focus on Beethoven’s and Haydn’s folk song arrangements, in order to present this unique combination of classical music and folk song tradition to a wider audience.

The musicians have been Trio in Residence at the Klassikmusikfest Mühlviertel and performed at the International Brucknerfest Linz, in London (Kings Place), as well as in Italy, Slovenia, Belgium and Lithuania. The programme includes Trio in G major, All´Ongarese by Hayden; Trio in C Minor op.1/3 and Variations in E flat Major, op.44 by Beethoven plus Trio in D Minor, op.49 by F. Mendelssohn-Bartholdy.
