Spirit Of Adventure Series
We know that winter can be a tough time for the adventurous type. You either face up to freezing temperatures and head out on the icy roads, climbing snowy hills, or you put your feet up and become steadily bored out of your mind!
But never fear, Outfit Moray and Windswept Brewing have come to the rescue, giving you something to look forward to in those long winter evenings of early 2015 - The Spirit of Adventure Talk series. Come along and have a bite to eat and grab a beer from the Windswept Bar, then settle down to hear from an adventurer who really has been there and done that. They may even have the T-shirt!
Last (but by no means least) on the bill (following David 'Heavy' Whalley on 27th February, and Al Gilmour on 26th March) is Watersports expert, and owner of H20 Training, Steve Bowens. Steve specialises in all things sea-related, and has competed internationally in Surf-Kayak competitions. In 2012, Steve rowed 3,200 miles across the Atlantic ocean, completely unsupported except for his three team mates. Hear all about his sleep-deprivation and salt sores, as well as his huge sense of achievement in completing the crossing from the Canary Islands to Barbados.
