One of the biggest names in Australian comedy (he's 6ft 7in), who has appeared on practically every show down under. Having conquered the US and Canada with his fast and furious delivery, mixing gags and observation, he has now turned his thoughts of global comedy domination on the UK.
'He mesmerised the audience, they only took their eyes off him to laugh' (The Melbourne Age).

With musical skills that would easily fit into many rock bands, Duncan Oakley performs an infectious mix of musical comedy and stand up with one of his trusty guitars - Maurice (Fender Strat), No 7 (acoustic) or The Lezza (his Les Paul) by his side.
With an eye and ear for the silly, rude, playful and downright irritating occurrences of life, Duncan musters up songs that don't just make you laugh, they bury into the recesses of your mind and find you humming a tune with a smile on your face 3 days later, confused and wondering where it's come from.
'There's laughter and there's laughter and if you want to experience real mccoy, genuine, honestly felt, uncontrollable cachinnation the best place is at a Duncan Oakley gig' (Plymouth Herald)
'Oakley's routine deftly mixes the tunes with the stand-up' (City Life)
'... the encore had me in tears of laughter' (BBC)
'Leaping between stupidity and pure brilliance' (Yorkshire Evening Post)

Winner of the 2007 Hackney Empire new act of the year and BAFTA winner for Fonejacker. David Whitney's material is a fine blend of political satire and pure filth, making him the thinking person's comic. So long as that person is thinking of something satirically filthy at the time. His posh-accented delivery comes dunked in a tongue-in-cheek laddishness.
'... you can't stop him, you can only hope to contain him' (Reg D Hunter)
'His trajectory is perfect. He squeezes the laughter out of audiences. He is the squeeze person' (Eddie Izzard).

Since reaching the final of So You Think You're Funny? 2004, Rob has gone on to become a very much in demand act on the UK and Irish circuit as both compere and stand up comedian.
He '... gives audiences who want their laughs kept straight forward exactly what they want... told with the sort of natural chattiness it's impossible to dislike'(http//:www.chortle.co.uk).
