Described by the Derbyshire Times as "Derbyshire's best kept secret", Whitwell Festival of Music is a community event in a village setting, now in its 9th year, getting bigger and better every time.
The festival offers 3 stages indoor and outdoor (2 music plus spoken word stage), real ales and ciders, caterers, craft stalls, workshops and open mic opportunities.
Camping is available for a small charge on a basic site 2 minutes walk from the main festival. Limited number of pitches so book early.
The festival is organised and run by volunteers, and proceeds from ticket sales are donated to local charities.
