Tarantino/Lynch style, Spaghetti Western inspired psych music that rocks hard and heavy. They are the leather jacket wearing, chain smoking, hard rocking siblings to bands like Starcrawler and Black Honey, seemingly raised on a diet of fuzz guitar riffs and hopeless tales of murder. A chemistry reminiscent of The Kills sets them apart with sparks flying between frontwoman Kitty Arabella Austen and co-lead Jon James Tufnell as they trade riffs and vocals with an intense fury highlighted by the raw, analogue production. "...pure cinematic Ennio Morricone rock n’roll" - The VPME.

Hailing from Norway, quirky Indie-Punk four-piece Pom Poko mix sweet sing-song vocals with intense grooves, bouncy guitars and absurd riffs. Their sugar-rush-filled tunes led DIY magazine to describe them as "the intensity and fizziness of a bottle of Coke and pack of Mentos”! Their eclectic concoction of crowd pleasing vocal hooks, 70’s disco riffs, and raucous rhythmic changes combine to make this band a feat to behold live.

The Pearl Harts
THE PEARL HARTS' unique brand of rock set them off to a whirlwind start; they were hand-picked to open tours with both Garbage and Skunk Anansie within their first couple of years of existence and also won many media champions including the likes of NME, Clash, Kerrang Radio. Being 100% DIY makes these achievements all the more impressive. Having met on the road playing in former bands, lead singer/guitarist Kirsty and drummer/vocalist Sara ran away from their previous lives to become music outlaws on their own terms. Utilising heavy guitars, bouncy grooves and combining Kirsty and Sara’s wide-ranging vocals, THE PEARL HARTS create a unique and innovative barrage of sound.

Featuring an all-girl line-up of Jessica Branney, Rachel Williams and Carleia Balbenta, three piece indie-pop band Peaness formed in Chester in late 2014. The trio have gigged extensively up and down the country with their unique and upbeat brand of indie pop that has more hooks, charm and depth than a dozen identikit indie-boy bores. The band have won the hearts of unsuspecting listeners across the length and breadth of the DIY scene, right through to BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens. Expect effortless breezy melodies, catchy hooks, even catchier choruses and lyrics that come with a cheeky wink and tongue in cheek innocence. Once you put it all together you’re left with what fans are christening Pea-Pop.

Only Sun are an exciting indie rock band from High Wycombe comprising of five tiring personalities; Aabid, Daz, Ed, Euan & Taylor. Throughout 2017, they gigged extensively throughout the London scene including headlining The Old Blue Last and Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen. They've also played at nationally renowned festivals, including Kendal Calling, Camden Rocks and Liverpool Sound City, and gained support from Spotify's The Indie List, Made in Chelsea and BBC Introducing. Throughout 2018 they released a new single every month and with this volume of releases comes the freedom to plumb the depths of their imagination and satisfy the cravings of other styles while still maintaining their sound. Perhaps there is a darker side to indie pop? Maybe it could get cheesier. Perhaps culminate into a PR car crash? Or perhaps this is a stroke of genius. Staggering, five pints deep, down the thin line that lies between pure insanity and genius is something that is not new to each member of Only Sun. One thing is for sure; behind the self deprecating front and the quickly decomposing sense of humour, the boys are turning up the heat in the studio and are ready for another year of success.
