The Skids Convention 2018

The Skids Convention 2018 will be held in Dunfermline on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th of May. This will coincide with a special exhibition at the Dunfermline Carnegie Library & Galleries to celebrate 40 years of The Skids.

Ticket holders must exchange their ticket for a pass at PJ Molloys on Saturday 19th May from 10am - 7pm or on Sunday 20th May from 10am.

Full schedule of events are as follows:

Saturday 19th May:
10am - Band will be at the exhibition to discuss with fans
12.30pm - Meet and greet with Richard Jobson reading extracts from 'Into The Valley' and taking questions
2pm - Premiere of The Skids documentary following the band as they embarked on their 40th Anniversary tour around the UK
3.30pm - Meet and greet with Richard Jobson reading extracts from 'Into The Valley' and taking questions
7pm - Full live electric show playing the brand new album 'Burning Cities' in its entirety. This is the only opportunity you will have to see this show
11pm - Full band DJ set playing all of their favourite records from throughout the decades and mingling with fans

Sunday 20th May:
10am - Band will be at the exhibition to discuss with fans
12.30pm - Premiere of The Skids documentary following the band as they embarked on their 40th Anniversary tour around the UK
2pm - Special full band acoustic show and Q&A looking back on the early days of the band
5pm - Drinks with the band at the specially curated Skids Gin Bar at The Old Town Barber Club

Throughout the weekend there will be unique merchandise on sale exclusive to this weekend and this is an amazing opportunity to get up close and personal with the band and ask any questions.
