Stockwell Festival 2018

Where else can you hear reggae, pop, jazz, classical, fado, samba and soul... Dance the tango, latin, zumba, swing and street... Smell the tang of spicy food and the delicious waft of donuts, hear the sizzle of skewers and the whizz of the rides. Taste the vegan bakes, the cupcakes, beer from Brixton brewery and Dvine wine.

Make a mosaic, a headdress or try flower arranging. Learn about local activities, education, health and wellbeing. Take part in tennis, football, basketball and go karting. Try bellydance, yoga, zumba, taekwondo, boxing or mindfulness. Watch the dancers, listen to a story, have your face painted, sing in French, join the crowd.

Much-loved community event The Stockwell Festival is happening on July 7th in Larkhall Park, 12 – 6pm and will be the sixteenth event since it was started in 2000.

The Festival is a chance to celebrate the unique creativity, energy and diversity of Stockwell. The event gathers thousands of local residents in a colourful community celebration. The theme this year is ‘Stockwellbeing’, with a focus on enjoyable ways to enhance your wellbeing.
