A second coming in its truest form, next year the UK’s No.1 tribute to The Stone Roses, The Clone Roses, will take to the stage at that infamous Widnes island in what will be the only live performance to have been held at the site since that momentous day in 1990.
Joined by a bill of hand picked tributes; Oas-is, Happy Mondaze, The Smiths Ltd, The James Experience & True Order, the essence of the Madchester era will resonate throughout the day. Alongside the live music, there'll be DJ sets from Clint Boon & Bez (Happy Mondays) with original Spike Island DJs Andy (808 State), Hacienda Legend Dave Booth & Dust Junkys rapper MC Tunes. Manchester DJ and Radio host Dave Sweetmore will host the day's proceedings.
