The Silloth Music & Beer Festival will take place this year from Thursday 7th September to Sunday 10th September on Silloth Green. The festival is organised by the committee of Silloth Music Festivals Ltd. which is a not-for-profit company; any profits made are either ploughed back into improving future festivals or helping other music events on The Green.
Their aim is to provide an enjoyable, relaxed and entertaining 4 days for local people and to attract visitors to Silloth-on-Solway to help local businesses. We feel the festival is unique in offering both music and beer in equal quantities!
Around 60 real ales – many from Cumbria itself – are featured with some 22 draft ciders. For the non-real ale drinkers we offer lager, perry ciders, wine, alcopops, soft drinks and water!
In addition to the headline acts they promote local bands too, giving them a chance to perform on the big stage.
N.B. Children are only allowed in events on Saturday and Sunday afternoons free of charge providing they are accompanied by a responsible adult.
