Margate Mod & Sixties Festival

The Mods return to Margate fifty years after the much maligned media headlines on Whitsun bank holiday from those heady mid sixties days. GBMC have put together a program that will be sure to thrill you over the Whitsun weekend.

Over three evenings and two daytime events they have put together a stellar program of live acts, internationally renowned & local DJ's, dancing competition, scooter run and show, market and record fair and exhibition.

All evening events are at the Westcoast/Black Cat club which has two DJ rooms and a fantastic live music set-up. Our daytime events are on the Piazza opposite the Westcoast and seafront with ample parking space for scooters. There is a stage with live music including 'battle of the bands' on Saturday afternoon, open decks DJ sessions, scooter show and comp, market with food and drinks at special prices for wristband holders.
