Linton Festival is held each year in the grounds at the rear of the Alma pub over the weekend closest to mid-summer’s day. The festival is very well run by an enthusiastic committee of volunteers. Their efforts have seen the festival go from strength to strength with more famous bands appearing, increased audiences from year to year and more money for local causes from the proceeds. Recent years have seen sell-out audiences of over 1000 visitors.
