Green Man presents Coutyard at King's Cross. One beast of a beer fest.
Feeling Thirrrsty? Green are extending the festival's fun-loving reach into London’s King’s Cross for a monster Welsh craft ale, cider and music festival, taking place from Thursday 10th September to Sunday 13th September. This new thirst-quenching event is named Courtyard after the on-site area for the Green Man Beer & Cider Festival..
'Courtyard' is free to attend; you don’t need a ticket, you can just turn up on the day. But be warned, it’s going to be a roadblock! To guarantee entry, we recommend you purchase one of the beer packages in advance via the website. The grog will also be cheaper bought in advance.
With over 100 of the best Welsh beers and ciders from independent breweries on offer (including Apple County, Brecon Brewing, Celt Experience, Cyclops (Cwrw Ial Community Brewing), Geipel ,Gray Trees, Gwynt-y-Ddraig, Hallets Cider, Mantle Brewry, Otley Brewery, Palmers Upland Cyder, Pipes, Purple Moose, Troggi, Tudor Brewery, Waen Brewry, Wilces, Williams Brothers, and Y-Bryn), this beast of a beer festival aims to bring a piece of the Green Man spirit to the streets of King’s Cross, London.
In true Green Man spirit, they have invited an exciting feast of musical friends to perform each day. So far these include festival friends The Wave Pictures (who will be our fantastic house band), Stealing Sheep, Huw Stephens, Happyness, Boxed In, Meilyr Jones Seamus Fogarty, Benedict Benjamin, Rozi Plain, Toby Hay, and Cristobal & The Sea, with many more to come. The Sunday will see the infamous and lovely Moshi Moshi Records hosting a Moshi Curated stage!
In addition to all the ales, ciders and music, they will also have a series of craft brewing workshops, pub quizes, walkabout theatre and interactive workshops. There's something on offer for each and every monster! Check out details of the workshops on the website now!
Expect the same friendly free spirited atmosphere that the festival has become known for, complete with a scrumptious selection of Welsh street food served by independent vendors to keep you fuelled up throughout the weekend.
It's going to be one beast of a beer festival!
