Freemusic Festival is a three-day music festival held on the banks of Lac Baron Desqueyroux, in Montendre in southwestern France.
The festival has been known for its eclectic lineups since its inception in 2001, spanning the likes of rock, hip hop, pop, reggae, acoustic and folk, typically with an emphasis on French stars, though it brings its fair share of internationally-scale acts.
And of course a large part of the festival's appeal is its beautiful natural, lakeside setting, surrounded by scenic woodland.
