East of Culture – Different Sounds Art’n’Music Festival

East of Culture is a cultural project integrating artists from cities in eastern Poland (Bia?ystok, Lublin and Rzeszów) and artists from Eastern Partnership countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldavia and Ukraine). It is executed by the National Centre for Culture and the three Polish cities. The project aims to present and help discover unique aspects of each culture as well as to facilitate the sharing of artistic experiences. Over time, the festival became a bridge connecting our eastern partners with broader European culture. 2017 marks the 5th edition of East of Culture. The project has been made possible thanks to the involvement and support of creative groups, local governments in Eastern Poland as well as the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage.
