This year, ATP's three day Winter event will be curated and headlined by Cincinnati, Ohio's The National, performing their only UK show of 2012.
Since their formation in 1999, The National have grown organically from indie cult heroes in their early years, to creating truly stunning LPs such as the amazing Alligator and Boxer, and more recently with the success of High Violet deservedly achieving crossover success to become one of the most acclaimed bands on the planet. Much of this success is based on their incredible live shows and ATP are very excited that the band have accepted the invitation to headline and to curate an exciting supporting bill featuring many of their favourite artists.
The event will feature around 40 live acts playing across the weekend on the venue's excellent indoor stages featuring award winning sound, as well as DJs until late, Cinema and Book Club both curated by The National, and much more!
**Due to Butlins ending their six year relationship with the festival, ATP has now moved the event to Camber Sands - their original home - on the same dates as before. All original ticket bookings remain valid, and refunds will be available until the end of June for those who no longer wish to attend following this change.
See www.pontins.com/accommodation/update for more information on the location, including details of the refurbishments (including upgrades to accommodation and venues).
If you have any questions, please email ATP at feedback@atpfestival.com and they will get back to you.**
