Tame Impala, led by multi-instrumentalist Kevin Parker, has gone from playing small clubs to headlining the world's biggest festivals in little over a decade. His 2015 album Currents earned him a second GRAMMY nomination, a BRIT award, RIAA Gold-certification and world–wide critical acclaim. The New York Times labeled it a 'a tour de force' while Pitchfork said 'every song on ‘Currents’ is a revelatory statement of Parker's range and increasing expertise as a producer, arranger, songwriter, and vocalist'. In a 5 star review the Guardian said 'Australian musical polymath Kevin Parker's luscious new album takes psychedelic music into unknown territory” while Q magazine called it “Parker's finest achievement yet'. As a writer and producer Parker has collaborated with Travis Scott, SZA, Lady Gaga, Mark Ronson, Kanye West, Kali Uchis, Theophilus London, Miguel, A$AP Rocky and more.

The artist formerly known as Manitoba, offering up a likeable blend of electronica and sunshine pop. Their live set sees them deliver a carnival-esque whirl of ridiculous melodies, effusive noise, stampeding beats alongside furiously harmonised vocals. Two drummers, visuals and whirling guitars and keyboards create a claustrophobic, mesmeric soundscape akin to My Bloody Valentine and the sprawling, bucolic tour de force, like early Mercury Rev.

Australian dance, hip-hop and ambient experimentalists whose sound melds a myriad of samples with a veritable plethora of sonic sequences. The resulting smorgasbord is challenging and satisfying in equal amounts. It took them a staggering sixteen years to follow up their debut album and 2001 hits 'Since I Left You' and 'Frontier Psychiatrist', but music critics and fans alike felt it was well worth the long wait when they eventually unveiled their trippy 21-track follow-up masterpiece 'Wildflower' in 2016.

Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever
A tough pop / soft punk band from Melbourne, Australia, signed to the Sub Pop label. "If you were raised on ’80s college rock, you could revel in nostalgic nods to the Feelies, the Clean, the Go-Betweens, and countless other Velvets revisionists. Younger fans could hear the sort of band the Strokes might have turned into had they aged more gracefully, or imagine what Real Estate might sound like after downing a case of Red Bull" - Pitchfork

'Sir Was is a Swedish artist who views music entirely without boundaries. Loosely electronic, his work is also informed by his experiences as a jazz saxophonist that led periods studying in Gothenburg and at the University of Kwasulu-Natal in Durban, South Africa. Currently based in Gothenburg, sir Was has caught the attention of City Slang. Debut single 'a Minor Life' is a fine introductory statement, with its mesh of contradictions building into something quite special. Opening with bagpipes, the skirl of the Scottish instrument makes way to placid, floral electronics, the pop-edged melodies sitting on top of some rather darker themes.'

Kelly Lee Owens
After having contributed her writing and vocal skills to Daniel Avery's 'Drone Logic' - Kelly Lee Owens is crafting a musical world of her own in the form of a debut album, with co-production from Phantasy Sound's Ghost Culture. "Lucid is an ethereal pop gem, glistening in it's beauty and expansiveness, slightly scuffed by murky drum beats. It's a cinematic experience. Huge strings fade into space and ribbons of synth flutter about menacingly, all whilst the subdued, plodding beat keeps things moving along at a steady pace. A genuinely beautiful track, and hopefully the first of many." Clash Magazine

Holy F*** started with a simple concept, to mimic modern, electronic music without using modern fail-safes like laptops and programmed backing tracks so they armed themselves with a drum set, a bass guitar, a myriad of toy keyboards, guitar peddles, mixers and even a 35mm film synchronizer and hit the stage. NME named them as one of their top three performances when they appeared at Glastonbury.
