017 Dance - Around The World

017 Dance will be a vibrant five night celebration of world culture, from the diverse communities in Stoke-on-Trent to the far reaching countries of the world.

The Regent Theatre’s annual Dance Festival is now in its 16th year, and 017 Dance will be the biggest one yet! Around the World will have a whole new format, with extended stage time, finales and creative challenges for all dance groups.

Dance companies from all over the UK have been invited to flex their creativity and imagination through these challenges to transform The Regent Theatre stage each night with breath taking routines and choreography. Each dance piece will consider all aspects of the theme, looking not only at world dance styles, but taking inspiration from language, food, values, art, stories, heritage and society.
