The GB3 masterclass aims to entertain and inform. The focus of this workshop will be to help people to become better music creators, both in their composition and improvisation. This will be ideal for intermediate to advanced players searching for a fresh approach to developing their musical skills from the point of view of a trio of advanced musicians and their band. In the session you will be guided through their trademark approaches to harmony, melody, chord progression and practice and be shown how you can begin and advance your own development these areas in a musical way.

The session will focus on the following main areas

- Composition with chordal harmony
- Improvisation over a shifting chord progression through different key centres
- Melodic development for composition and improvisation
- Combining Harmony, melody and rhythm
- Arrangement of music
- Advanced guitar and bass techniques and how to practice them effectively
