Mitch Benn & Matt Rees - Edinburgh Fringe Previews

RBM presents two stars of the comedy world previewing their latest material ahead of this year’s Edinburgh Festival.

Mitch Benn
A stalwart of BBC Radio 4s Now Show for more than a decade, Mitch has also presented many radio specials. Following on from the success of Mitch Benn Is The 37th Beatle, a further three specials on music icons Bob Dylan, David Bowie and Elvis have been broadcast – The Freewheelin Mitch Benn, Mitch Benn Is The Fat Pink Duke and Mitch Benn Has Left The Building. He also co-presented with Harry Shearer BBC Radio 2s Anatomy Of A Guitar and presented Spank The Plank for BBC Radio 4. He also appeared on (and won) BBC1 televisions Celebrity Mastermind!

Matt Rees
Multi-award-winning Welsh comedian, Matt Rees, has generated a huge buzz on the circuit over the past few years with his unique brand of well-crafted gags and acerbic delivery earning him high praise from audiences and critics alike.

The deadpan stand-up is a sober drunk and a couple of years ago he had to take a break from comedy to deal with his personal matters, but now he’s back and taking the comedy scene by storm once more. As well as starring in BBC3’s This Country and BBC’s Edinburgh Fringe Highlights, Matt has also recently recorded an episode of BBC2’s Stand Up at BBC Wales, Amazon’s Audible Presents and Stand Up For BBC Radio Wales.
