Remembering Blossom Dearie -

Zoe Francis started singing jazz while living and working in New York, and soon became a regular fixture on the scene, often sitting in with the late Harry Whitaker and his trio at Arturo’s down in the Village as well as working with other musicians including Harry Allen, Warren Vache, Joe Cohn and Chris Flory. Tonight Zoe will be performing a lovely selection of melodic standards, plus a selection of songs from her lauded show "Blossom" featuring songs from the now legendary American singer Blossom Dearie.

Appearing with Zoe will be the multi-award winning legendary guitarist Jim Mullen, who has a unique style and sound and is widely regarded as one of the finest jazz guitarists in Europe. Jim's quartet (1996-2002) was one of the most powerful ever to appear on the British jazz scene.

Doors open at 7pm with live music running from 7:45pm – 10:15pm.

All reservations/bookings are guaranteed a seat. Seating will be in a cabaret-style format with small tables, or in a theatre-style in rows. Group bookings of 6 or more will be seated together wherever possible.

Supper

We encourage you to enjoy a home-made chicken or vegetarian 'Curry In The Box' before the show at 7pm, served in the Members' Bar Dining area. No pre-booking is required.
