John Gay’s 1728 musical comedy was set deep within London’s East End underworld: a frantic, dangerous and corrupt world of gangsters, thieves and women of the night.

This exciting production, while respecting Gay’s original vision, is presented with new musical arrangements and revised dialogue, and is set in the time of the Kray twins.

Expect fabulous contemporary orchestrations and FAOS’s usual top quality singing.
