Polina Gerasimenko

Polina Gerasimenko was born and educated in Russia, where she graduated with distinction from one of the country's oldest music institutions, Saratov State Conservatoire of Music. She was taught by Prof. Nathan Benditsky, a second generation musical descendant of Heinrich Neuhaus, Moscow Conservatoire's renowned pedagogue. Polina's current mentor is a renowned Russian concert pianist and Professor of Piano at Trinity College of Music, Alexander Ardakov.

Polina has been performing extensively, both solo and as a chamber musician. Her various awards include prizes of the 5th Concorso Internazionale di Esecuzione Pianistica "Premio Euterpe", South Russia Chamber Music Competition and Diplomas with Distinction of IBLA Grand Prize and Moscow International Piano Competition "In memory of P.Tchaikovsky".
