Wonder Fields takes places 8th - 10th July near Exeter. This is one of few public events hosted at one of Devon’s most stunning stately home locations which has previously featured on Channel 4’s Life is Toff and Country House Rescue. Wonder Fields takes place in support of TEMWA, who train and support communities in rural Northern Malawi.
This year the festival designed in the theme of a lost Aztec City and positively encourages fancy dress to fit the theme! The event promises sumptuous, locally produced, soul food and a number of specialist experiences taking place within it’s rambling grounds. There is a BBQ feast on Sunday raising funds for TEMWA. There will be Kernow Springs wood fired hot tubs on the lakeside, award winning gourmet Devonshire burgers from Two Coast County, accompanied by their own acoustic corner and postcard time machine or the Banghra Bus veggie and vegan cafe, on board an old American yellow school bus.
There are lots of activities planned for families including archery, slackline walking, greenwood crafting, bonfire storytelling and a batwalk through the grounds at dusk. As well as puppet shows and workshops and circus activities. Join in with sessions and workshops in yoga, samba & capoeira. Try out sheep’s milk ice cream.
A new Lost Woods, hideaway stage and cocktail bar will be hosted by Waggles spinning funky, global, hip-hop, disco & dup-step breaks and samba styles with takeovers from Denture Disco, Bristek & Tremor.
