Peter Dare was Master Mason at Exeter Cathedral between 1969 - 1985. This was an interesting period for the life of the Cathedral, with the church of St Mary Major demolished and the archaeological excavation of the west front.

Peter was involved with cleaning the north and west elevations of the Cathedral, along with the interior.
