Bach Christmas Oratorio
Exeter Festival Chorus is joined by internationally acclaimed soloists to perform Bach’s joyful and exuberant series of cantatas to celebrate Christ’s birth.
The work will be performed in German and played on period instruments by Devon Baroque, the renowned early music chamber orchestra.
You might like to visit Exeter’s Christmas Market on the Cathedral Green before entering the Cathedral itself for the concert, to hear Bach’s Christmas Oratorio – a profound and meaningful start to the Festival of Christ’s birth.
