Join Jo Wren from Southampton's archives at this fascinating online talk, exploring the life and times of Southampton born writer and radical thinker Harriet Grote. Often defined by her marriage to the politician George Grote, Harriet was also an accomplished writer in her own right. Join us to find out more about her and her links to Southampton as Jo dips in to our archives to tell her story.

Free to all, this talk is supported as part of the Creative Connections project and accompany the Creative Connections portraiture exhibition in collaboration with the National Portrait Gallery.
