Sleeping Beauty - Christmas Panto 2013

The Kings Theatre's traditional family pantomime for 2013 - Sleeping Beauty.

Following the success of last year’s pantomime, the Kings Theatre is delighted to confirm that the following will be starring in this year's pantomime...

Danniella Westbrook, best known as Samantha Mitchell in Eastenders will play Fairy Sparkle. She also appeared in ITV’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here in 2003 and Dancing on Ice in 2010.

Christopher Maloney, 2012 X Factor finalist, will sweep Sleeping Beauty (played by Helen Kent) off her feet as the Prince.

Returning to the Kings is Lynne McGranger, Australian “Home and Away” soap star to play the villain everyone loves to hate, wicked fairy godmother “Carabosse”.

Tony Adams who played Adam Chance in “Crossroads” and Dr. Neville Bywaters in “General Hospital” is also returning and will join us as King Egbert the Oval.

From closer to home, New Apollo Theatre Company’s Christopher Marlowe will be the larger than life character, Queen Gertie the Gorgeous, Sleeping Beauty’s mother.

Matt Dallen is delighted to be making his first appearance at the Kings Theatre. He is a regular pantomime performer and is sure to make you laugh as Chester the Jester. Matt has worked on many cruise ships and directed shows abroad.
