Privates On Parade

It’s 1948. Peace reigns in Britain but in South East Asia our boys are fighting a forgotten war against Communism. So, what do the British military might send over to help win the war against 5,000 Chinese Communists? I’ll tell you what, says Major Giles (Gillian) Flack; song and dance!

Jason Sutton better known as Miss Jason leads a talented (in all the right places) troop of fine young soldiers in this emotional rip roaring comedy. Jason Sutton plays the cross dressing role of Acting Captain Terri Dennis, as he romps his way through the jungle giving performances as Marlene Dietrich, Vera Lynn, Carmen Miranda and Noel Coward.

In his delicate hands, are a set of privates whose journey from boys to men is handled with care. The comedy of this play is set against the violent jungle warfare where laughter meets death and shy inexperienced National Service lads become men.
